You may know me as the worlds worst game player but I'm also the world Hive thinker that thinks about what to do with hive in certain situations.
In 2017 I sold my bitcoin for steem because I believed in earning rewards as a way of increasing my holdings. I figure I could watch my amount of bitcoin go up and down or I can accumulate more and more of a token that I liked.
It was a disaster. Ultimately I turned $4,000 of bitcoin into about $335 of steem. But I rose up, grinded and regrinded into Hive and rescued all my crypto losses and have been hiving ever since.
I have sold a little along the way but for hivey things like leo, cub, splinterlands and a few wax toys. I bought my btc back and and hold it. I bought 1 eth from my hive earnings and holding it.
So walls come crashing down I'm holding my hive and watching it shrink. I don't think I want to sell any but I'm not opposed to jumping on the side if it goes down more. I truly believe now more than ever that hive has a future.
Everyone is going to try and build a great 3.0 platform but we already have one. The last time around I wasn't so bullish on Hive at the time. But now, there is no turning back. We reside in the direction everyone else interested in web 3 is heading.
So I don't want to sell my hive, but I don't want it to lose another 50% of my value. So whats the plan? What is your strategy when the bear attacks your hive.
